Writing for the Design Mind is written specifically for graphic designers who wish to improve their writing skills, yet despite this anyone who wishes to improve their writing is likely to enjoy the authors light-hearted and humorous approach to the subject. Author Natalia Ilyin addresses the hang-ups that most designers have about writing by explaining that like anything else if you want to get better at writing you need to practice; Ilyin also explains that designers write all the time: emails to clients, business proposals, and the occasional advertising copy, and therefore knowing how to write clearly is an essential skill.
